General: New Nurse Prescribing Forum

Independent National Substance Misuse Nurse Prescribing Forum
The first meeting is planned for Friday 10th November, meeting at 10.00am for a 10.30 start, finish at 3.30pm. The venue is in Fulham and we have sponsorship from Schering-Plough Ltd. In order to determine numbers for purposes of the venue and sponsorship we are asking those interested in attending to contact Caroline at the address shown below and we can then compile an e-mail database for circulation of minutes and updates, etc.
The idea at this stage is that the Forum will provide nurse prescribers, and those interested in nurse prescribing in the addiction field, an opportunity to gain peer support and exchange experience and solutions to problems encountered in implementing nurse prescribing.

General: New ANSA Web Site Launched!

Welcome to the brand new ANSA web site...
It's taken a while to get here, and we apologise for making you wait, but we hope you like the new design.
Some areas are still to finish and there are many bits still to add BUT please remember that ANSA is a membership organisation so this site needs input from the membership.
If you have links to other sites in the addictions world that we have missed, please contact us and let us know. Likewise, we want to develop the Resource Library so send us your locally developed guidelines for areas of new and developing practice to save other people re-inventing the wheel. If you have ideas for things we could add, tell us - if practicable we will add them.
Finally once again WELCOME and keep checking back to see what is new on the ANSA Web Site!
